As part of the 1FUTURE project\u2019s Work Package 4, Luarasi University organized an insightful academic session titled Measures for Improving the Energy Efficiency of Buildings<\/em> on April 7, 2025. The session was conducted by Prof. Ana Trombeva Gavriloska from the Faculty of Architecture at UKIM-Skopje, North Macedonia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed for an audience of 25 university students, the session focused on essential topics such as architectural strategies for enhancing building energy performance, innovative approaches to energy efficiency, and tailored solutions for the renovation of modernist architectural heritage. Utilizing an interactive format\u2014including real-world case studies, group collaboration, and dynamic discussions\u2014students explored practical methods and design frameworks to improve energy efficiency in both new and existing structures. They engaged in critical thinking exercises and exchanged ideas on sustainable architectural models, emphasizing the relevance of simulation tools and energy performance assessments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one-hour session offered valuable insights and practical knowledge to both undergraduate and graduate students, strengthening their understanding of sustainable development in the built environment. It also underscored the critical role of strategic planning and data-driven energy simulations in achieving long-term resilience and environmental sustainability in architectural design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
