{"id":2036,"date":"2025-10-21T09:49:34","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T09:49:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/1future.feut.edu.al\/?p=2036"},"modified":"2026-02-14T09:50:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-14T09:50:20","slug":"smart-green-resilient-cities-short-intensive-course-at-the-university-of-montenegro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/1future.feut.edu.al\/?p=2036","title":{"rendered":"Smart Green Resilient Cities: Short Intensive Course at the University of Montenegro"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From 14\u201317 October 2025, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Montenegro&nbsp; successfully finished the Short Intensive Course \u201cSmart Green Resilient Cities: A Holistic Approach to Sustainable Urbanization\u201d, organised within the Erasmus+ project 1FUTURE in cooperation with the Knowledge HUB for Climate and Sustainability (KHCS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course provided an interdisciplinary learning space focused on practical and policy-relevant approaches to sustainable urban development. It addressed major challenges faced by cities today, resource efficiency, climate resilience, and regulatory alignment, by combining technical knowledge with circular economy principles and European standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants explored core themes including construction and demolition waste management and circular economy, circular economy solutions in the built environment, and the application of the EU Construction Products Regulation in supporting sustainable and resilient urbanization. These topics were further enriched through symposium sessions, open discussions, and peer exchange, enabling participants to reflect on how innovative practices and regulatory frameworks can be translated into local and regional contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training was delivered in Montenegrin and English.
