As part of the 1FUTURE project’s commitment to fostering knowledge exchange and sustainability education, the University of Tirana welcomed esteemed professors from Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development to deliver lectures on climate adaptation and crisis management in tourism.
On November 4, 2024, Prof. Wolfgang Strasdas led an engaging session on Climate Adaptation in Tourism, addressing the growing challenges posed by climate change on the tourism sector. His interactive lecture, attended by more than 50 university students, encouraged self-reflection, discussions, to explore innovative solutions for a more sustainable tourism industry.
Continuing the knowledge-sharing initiative, on November 5, 2024, Prof. Dagmar Lund-Durlacher delivered a lecture on Crisis Management and Resilience Building in Tourism. The session focused on equipping students with strategies to mitigate risks, enhance resilience, and develop sustainable approaches to crisis management in the tourism sector.
Both lectures were hosted at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, providing students with the opportunity to learn from international experts and engage in dynamic discussions on sustainability challenges.
