As part of Work Package 4 of the 1FUTURE project, Luarasi University held an engaging lecture session on the topic of Circular Economy in the Built Environment on April 8, 2025. The session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Meri Cvetkovska from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at UKIM-Skopje, North Macedonia.
Intended for a group of 25 university students, the session delved into key themes such as development strategies, energy efficiency, and the principles of the circular economy. Through an interactive approach incorporating case studies, open discussions, and collaborative group work, students were encouraged to critically examine practical examples and contribute to meaningful dialogue around circular economy models.
The session provided both undergraduate and postgraduate participants with applicable knowledge and tools to navigate challenges related to sustainable development and energy systems. With a total duration of one hour, this learning experience offered a well-rounded perspective, highlighting the importance of strategic thinking and circular practices in addressing the evolving demands of our built environment.
