Podgorica, April 9–10, 2025 – The University of Montenegro hosted two interactive lectures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, as part of the 1FUTURE project activities. Prof. Meri Cvetkovska, a full professor at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM, Skopje), delivered the lectures.
The first lecture, held on April 9, 2025, covered “Energy Efficiency and Design of Buildings to Passive House Standard.” Prof. Cvetkovska introduced participants to the principles and advantages of passive house design, emphasizing strategies to reduce energy consumption in buildings. The session was delivered interactively, encouraging active participation from the attendees.
The second lecture, on April 10, 2025, focused on “Circular Economy in Built Environment,” providing insight into sustainable resource management and the construction sector’s role in reducing environmental impact. The session was structured as an interactive discussion, allowing for knowledge exchange and dialogue with students.
Both lectures were well attended by third-year civil engineering students and faculty staff. The sessions helped raise awareness and knowledge of sustainable construction practices among the academic community.
