The Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized on March 10, 2023 the second seminar within the BRE (Business Registry Empowerment) project, part of the Interreg IPA II CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro program.
Representatives of Albanian companies from the agribusiness, tourism, textile and production sectors participated in the seminar.
The focus of the activity was informing Albanian enterprises about fiscal and customs facilities within the framework of cooperation between enterprises of the program countries. Attention was also paid to the promotion of the “BRE Partner Query” platform, which was created as an opportunity to exchange commercial information, in order to increase cooperation and competition between them.
As an expert, Mrs. Flutura Shehi, Sector Manager at the General Directorate of Customs, forwarded information on the rules of origin of goods, simplified customs procedures and changes in customs regimes.
In the framework of internationalization and networking with Montenegro and Italy, Mr. Artur Papajani, Director of the RSM AL Tax Department, emphasized the fiscal facilities. In this session, the high interest of companies to be informed more about the fiscal facilities related to trade with the countries of the region was dictated.
Further, Prof. Elona Pojani and Prof. Perseta Grabova, from the Tirana Faculty of Economics, discussed the resilience of businesses to the challenges of climate change. At the end of this seminar, the participants presented the profiles and achievements of the companies they represented, where they were given the opportunity to create collaborations between them.
