From 13–17 October 2025, the University of Montenegro hosted a Coaching Visit from the University of Novi Sad in Podgorica, aimed at strengthening the operational capacity, visibility, and long-term sustainability of the Knowledge HUB for Climate and Sustainability (KHCS).
The visit brought together academic staff, administrative representatives, and external stakeholders to review progress achieved by KHCS and to discuss strategic directions for its further development. The programme included coordination meetings and presentations of KHCS results, providing an overview of implemented activities, achieved outcomes, and ongoing initiatives supporting climate action and sustainability education.
In addition, institutional meetings were held with university leadership, faculty members, and relevant external stakeholders, fostering dialogue on governance models, stakeholder engagement, and integration of KHCS activities within the university’s academic and research framework. These exchanges supported alignment between strategic priorities and practical implementation.
A key component of the coaching visit was the delivery of two teaching activities by the visiting professor from the University of Novi Sad: a lecture on Circular Economy in the Built Environment and a hands-on Hazard Mapping and Risk Assessment workshop. These sessions enhanced participants’ technical knowledge and practical skills, while promoting interdisciplinary and applied learning approaches.
The coaching visit concluded with monitoring activities, and joint reflection on lessons learned. Based on these discussions, partners prepared recommendations and action to guide the next steps and ensure the long-term sustainability and impact of KHCS activities.
